As some may already be well aware of, I have a terrible tendency to start projects on deviantArt only to cancel or stop abruptly just a few weeks later. For example, the Amy Adventures pages that stopped at page four, even though I already had additional pages in rough drafts needing inking. Let me start off by also adding that my absence from DA was not in artist-block vain. These months I've been gone were all in finally sitting myself down and forcing myself to concentrate on a project that has always been vaguely planning itself in choppy format in the back of my mind. This planning has been going on for literally years and I've decided to finally get it all down on paper and submit it here.

The only problem is, that there is no problem with me. If there's going to be a problem, I guess it could be that people are going to get angry with the things that are going to be in this comic. People are going to be upset at being pulled into a happy scene only to have it shatter in the next issue. There will be some that will hate having their OTP torn apart in my mind. Some of my closest friends on DA will even be surprised at the couples that will eventually form, or how things will roll or how I morph a main character's attitude due to the things that happen around him or her. Some things probably won't make sense unless explained thoroughly, but I'm not going to do that. People are going to get frustrated with my story plot and how it ends and I realized that that is fine with me. Couples in the comic aren't even supposed to be the main idea of the comic. To put it blatantly, it's a story about overcoming obstacles and learning to live with loss and gain. Yes, there are going to be deaths.

I'm not doing this comic to please people, my wonderful watchers included. Like I stated before, it's just a comic that is finally being put down and I thought I'd share it with you all, whether you hate it or not. That's what the delete button on your inbox is for: just push it and my comic will leave your inbox.

Before I get questions, I'd just like to give out a few that are probably going to be asked anyway:

1. Q: Where is this story going to be taken place in?
A: Because in my mind the characters I want are both in the games and comics, I originally thought about just having them in the comics since the comics have pretty much all the characters I need, including Silver and Rob. When I thought about it some more, I realized that Archie Comics sometimes ruined a background story (like Shadow's origins) and I came to just throw my story into an AU. Alternate Universe for the few that don't know what it stands for. So, if things contradict if you read the comics and play the games, don't worry. It'll eventually plan out smoothly, trust me.

2. Q: Who's the main character?
A: There is none, but if I have to pin it on someone, it's going to have to be Miss Amy Rose. For the people that find her quite annoying and aren't interested in her, don't worry. The comic is going to focus on plenty of other people, like Silver, Rouge, Shadow, Sally Acorn, Tails, and a lot more. Everyone that is included in the comic is NOT just for the simple idea of including as many characters as possible to gain attention, oh no. Everyone in the comic has a huge part and ties the whole idea together nicely, at least for me.

3. Q: Can I request for something to happen? (i.e. like have a couple form, or not have someone die)
A: You may try, but 99% of the time it will be in vain. Like I said, this comic has been forming and reforming over years and to have someone pop up with an idea that doesn't fit in with future plans is not going to happen. Yet, I have to admit that at the most random of times, a casual idea suggested by one of my watchers or commenters will make a light bulb brighten in my head and I will gladly accept it. However, the chances are slim, but try your luck. The only thing I ask of you is to be a good sport and not get all hurt when I decline your request.

4. Q: I don't read the comics either because they suck or I just don't buy them. Am I going to be lost in the story?
A: That's kinda tough to answer. It depends on how well you pay attention in my comic. I am currently still working on it and have taken good steps in order not to make anything totally unrecognizable to people who don't have the STH comics. If anything is honestly bothering you, I ask you to please wait some time before sending me a note asking about something. I mean, it's a comic and all the questions aren't going to be answered right away in the next page. If all the comics worked like that, it'd be boring.

5. Q: What about your OCs?
A: Let me just put it out of the way right now that YES, there are going to be my own characters. And before you point out the million times I have viciously claimed that I loathe the very existence of Fan Characters, hear me out. In all the variety of characters in the STH comics, I tried to find characters that suited my purpose but couldn't find any. So I made my own and one of the few things I have fully planned out is how their own personal stories will end. I am totally happy with it and hope no one gets attached to my OCs in the comic. Secondly, the OCs don't make an entrance after the more stable parts of the comic take place, so if you want to read until an important OC comes in, you have quite a while to read.

6. Q: What is this comic going to be rated?
A: I'm gonna have to say T unless people expect character deaths and killings to be put under M. There's going to be swearing, death, blood, action but no lemons or nudity unless clothes are burned or torn off during a battle. XD Still, I know too much extreme cussing and too much blood can be a real turn off so I know how to keep it reasonable.

7. Q: How old are all the characters going to be?
A: Because I don't want to give away too many people -and there are going to be A LOT- that are going to be in it, I won't have an actual age chart until we get further into the comic and people are more comfortable with the flow of it. However, I will say the characters I have already mentioned. Remember this is an AU so the ages are planned according to me, not the games/comics:

Amy Rose- 14.5
Shadow- 17 (+ 50 years frozen and an immortal)
Rouge- 19
Rob- Anywhere between 28-35. (His age is never stated for sure in the comics but he is King of Deerwood Forest, married and has a baby boy.)
Silver- 16
Tails- 12
Sally- 17

Well, these are currently all the questions I have right now. If anyone has another question, feel free to ask here in this journal so I can update this entry. The reason I'm posting this journal up before actually posting up any pages is because I'm still planning it and to prepare you guys.

One last word, I'm sorry if I came off too morbid about people hating the comic. I just feel like this isn't going to be like anything I've posted on FF.net or drawn on here. Everything I've always done has been perky, sweet, funny, cute, whatever. To suddenly ease you all into one crazy comic book full of unexpected situations is bound to get some people upset.
